Have I mentioned I get to work with the best clients? This reno was an opportunity for me to work with one of the kindest, savviest most trusting clients. The team and I enjoyed every second of taking on the update of this awesome house, built in 1986. We jumped in when the home was in its original (rough) state and worked both to update it and preserve its funky architectural details. We removed carpets on all floors, installed wood floors to match original on the main floor, and polished the concrete in the downstairs great room. We saved and repainted the steel circular staircase (sanding off the carpet glue took forever!) We gutted and vaulted the primary bath to show off the amazing ceiling, and opened up the space between the kitchen, dining and great room to create an incredible volume of space. WOW just WOW! The result is a stunningly beautiful home that is both welcoming and, well, feels like a piece of art. Stay tuned for professional images of the results.
