17. small but mighty
The owner of this sweet house decided to do a small renovation… one that entailed a simple facelift to the kitchen, guest bath, primary bath, primary bedroom and living room. Ok, so it was a sweeping renovation - but not necessarily small. New paint, new cabinetry… and a new to us marble mantle that was rescued from a fine southern home and was waiting for us in a neighborhood antique store.
Truth be told, the renovation only took about 4 1/2 weeks, so it was a tiny reno compared to the projects we usually undertake… but the impact was anything but tiny. What was once a house with great potential, became a downtown pied de terre with beautiful art walls and the most romantic and swoon worthy livingroom. So pretty.
